    1962年出生于北京，自幼学习音乐。1982年考入北京师范大学分校中文系，1986年毕业后任北京师范大学分校中文系教师四年。1991年调入作家出版社任编辑。陈染1982年开始发表诗歌，1985年开始转向小说创作。出版有小说集《纸片儿》、《嘴唇里的阳光》、《无处告别》、《与往事干杯》、《离异的人》等，散文随笔集《声声断断》、《断片残简》、《时光倒流》等，长篇小说《私人生活》。1996年，《陈染文集》4卷本由江苏文艺出版社出版。2001年《陈染文丛系列》6卷本由作家出版社出版。1995年出版的长篇小说《私人生活》是陈染的代表作。它引发了中国文学界关于“私人写作”或“个人化写作”的强烈争议。陈染的创
