Associate Professor in Sinology，She have graduated from Lithuanian Academy of Music (in 1990). In 2000 received a doctor degree in the field of philosophy (from Lithuanian Institute of Philosophy and Sociology). She made a research as a senior visiting scholar at Xiamen and Beijing Universities (in 2000–2001 and 2002–2003 respectively), a short-term researches at Academia Sinica (Taiwan, Taipei, between 2008–2011). She have published one monograph and over forty articles on Chinese philosophy, aesthetics, art and religion. Since 2000 she teaches at the Centre of Oriental Studies (most courses on China) in the programs of BA and MA level), also was giving courses at the Vilnius Art Academy and University of M. Romeris.
