From the perspective of the richness of types, art in Guangdong is slightly inferior at some stage. But at other stages, it appears as various and colorful as other regions in central China. The author of this book feels deeply convinced and sticks strictly to traditional Qi category standard since many of the archeology materials, local cultural relic history and collection presents, etc. are categorized through this method. Even there appears some situation of fuzzy edge (often happen between crafts and sculpture), the author still try to classify them into the right category based on their general characteristics.
